Fear. Fear filled the world from end to end. Like the yawning chasm of the great divide there was a hole in the pit of each Hibel's heart, for there was nothing in the world that would bind these majestic people together and fill them.

They lived in shadow. The mighty shadows of the Land Squid fell down upon such a sturdy and ground shackled people. Enormous tentacles and huge wandering eyes, with a lumbering sway of walk kept the Land Squid as menacing as all the gods.

Fear of the gods as well had struck these simple folk. With the great storms of power and energy lighting up the red sky, the silhouette of Hellron and his following ruled from the clouds. Beset and encircled by the specter of Hellron and his shadows, as the Hibels believed, they went on the long reaching search for hope.

With little preparation but great strength of heart, 40 Hibel men and 40 Hibel women set out walking away from the red horizon with the sea beside them. Watching for the ferocity of the Land Squid they spent eight years and three months trudging over the barren landscape. Eventually, as the sea curved away, a set of twin tree tops peeked out from the line of the new and blue horizon. A thousand other trees followed, and finally the forest was reached. The Twin Tree Tops enthralled them as the tallest and most majestic site they had ever laid eyes on. The underbrush welcomed the Hibels and led them to the center of the forest, and thus to the Twin Tree Tops. This held their hope and let it flow until the Hibels swelled and burst with joy.
